Piazza San Marco, senza persone

Got up early to avoid the crowds, and the two days of torrential rain that are forecast for the weekend. This is the northern colonnade in Piazza San Marco. In an hour or two it will be filled with hordes of people, most likely all sheltering from the rain and fending of the umbrella-sellers.

Venice is an amazing place; beautiful views everywhere. One photo per day could never do this place justice, not even after a whole year.
