Devil

Wonderful traditional Polish cut-paper Christmas tree decorations, on display as part of the "Young Poland" exhibition at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow.  The Red Devil is probably a Krampus, a devil who accompanies Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) who punishes bad children.
