High Seat of Learning

This fine chap sits atop a cascading pile of about 350 books on our landing,fair to say he has read about as many of them as I have,but the opportunity is there for us both.
My wife is the avid reader,I read only when knowledge is required.
I should read more, but my excuse is that I don't want to stifle my originality with others ideas. (I've had a long time to think about that one)
If that doesn't cut ice,my fall back position is that I would rather live my life than somebody elses.
Both rubbish,but better than the Tigger has come up with!
