Snaky suculent

A story day affected my gardening plans.  A rose was planted but the leaves are still lying and there remain some tulips waiting for a place to grow.  I did manage to make considerable progress on reading Ali Smith's Autumn.  This is the third in her seasonal quartet that I've read as I decided to read them in season.  Thoroughly enjoyable.
