Bang Bang

We were having our breakfast in the cottage when there was a bang on the window. We realised that a blue tit had crashed to the window and was now lying face down on the terrace floor, right on top of a crack between the planks. 

We went out to see and as we got closer it rose to its feet but did not fly away. It stood still for perhaps 7-10 minutes (see extra) until it finally flew away. We were so happy.
