Dinosaur footprints?

Footprints in the snow. Not a dinosaur but a bird .... a big one!

A short distance down the track we put it up and it crossed the trail with a thunderous beating of wings as it took to the air. A male Capercaillie can weigh almost 3kg with a wingspan of over a metre. So maybe not so far removed from a dinosaur.
