Night Creatures
A full enough day. We laid low at first for a few hours as outside was driving wind and rain. We had arranged to meet an old friend in the city for brunch at 12.00, so thankfully the weather eased by then. A leisurely brunch and a great catch up with Fiona was had. Then a walk around the city streets, a drive out to Salthill to walk the promenade with hundreds of Galwegians and watch the divers off the diving pier. After dropping the car back to the hotel we walked back into town for a nice Italian meal. Both last night and tonight Galway is pretty much back to full force for people out and about, stags, hens and partying on. We skirted round the edges. Back at the hotel now, our little feet throbbing. A few here. Galway in November
