Held In Place

More wonderful light as the sun dipped towards the horizon and I made haste as I don't seem to have long at this time of year before it disappears. I found this collection of leaves trapped in a pocket behind some reeds. I liked that the light penetrated the darker area and picked them out of the shadows.

There were a few hot spots reflecting off the reeds which I found distracting and thought it worthwhile spending time to tone them down. Changing the aspect to 16:9 seems to draw the view closer in, making the image more about leaves than reeds.
