Boozy afternoon

As hubby had repaired his bike tyres, and had’t been out all week, he was up early fir an hour + ride. I walked the dogs, then off to the supermarket to collect a delivery before going on to drop some items off for AJ.

A while back, I had purchased two tickets for my daughter and I to attend a gin festival locally - that was this afternoon. Hubby dropped us off, we collected our goodies, got our tokens for drinks and headed in. So many gins to chose from!! The main hall contained the bars (5 of them) and had music, and another hall had companies offering tasters and bottles to buy (at discount on the day). With a gin and tonic in hand we headed into the tasting hall - some stalls had 5 or 6 different gins, well they had to be tried! Back to the main hall and found a seat to eat out sandwiches (soak up the booze). Another drink, back for some more samples then back to the main hall for some singing/dancing. When hubby collected us, we were “happy”. :)

Back home, more fireworks so classic fm and a sock over their ears seemed to do the trick. Ordered pizza take-away, a bit of a saga as took 2 hours from order to delivery (they said it was delivered…….but not to us!), got it in the end :)
