Old memories

This photo is from London, September 1978 at a contest that I covered at the old Rainbow Theatre. It is the Miss Bikini Universe contest, with the winner Sandra Kong of Jamaica on the left. The 2 blondes are English, with Bridget who placed 3rd in the centre of the photo.

It was taken just prior to the results being announced. Sandra went on to win the Mecca Miss World in November in London 2 months later.
