a brief respite

Much care for Peter today. New meds that we are now giving subcutaneously and we are learning how to keep him comfortable. His 3 children, his granddaughter, my best friend and myself are his palliative care team with incredible support from the community care team. We got out for some fresh air and a walk to the park today. E wouldn't go down the twirly slide. She wanted ME to down then slide and she would catch me. Here she is watching as I get ready to slide down. Such a joyful blessing saying hello to a bright new life as we say goodbye to another.
