Sunny Sunday Ibis Fun

I’ve had the usual quiet and relaxing Sunday. Yesterday was huge as we started our xmas shopping, thats Julian’s xmas shopping ;o). 
He’s heard on the news that stocks of everything could be low by the time xmas actually arrives so he’s panicking!!  
Amazingly we managed to get most of his ‘very important items’  so there’s that and we’ll go to the city next week and probably get the rest whew!!  

We walked to the little park down the road this afternoon and I spied all these ibis sitting on the fence in the sun.   
In extras is a shot of the paperbark trees on the little island (its underwater at the moment) that they nest in and you can see the big nests now because they strip the trees to make the nests and line them.

And thats another Sunday over and Monday is looming ugh!!! :o).
