It Should Have Been on Halloween

Yesterday morning I woke with blurred vision and my right eye suffused with blood - today’s photo shows how it has improved. I was advised to go to A and E, which I did - Saturday night on 6 November! 6 hours later, at 2 am, a lovely young doctor at Sheffield Northern General Hospital confirmed that was a side effect of the anticoagulant injections I have to take after surgery. I hate this photo - I don’t really look like this, do I?
