Vanguard

This is my Narnia tree. Every year it gains and loses leaves, and turns red, on its own timetable. When all of the other trees have already turned and started to fall, this one stays green; just one reddening leaf as a vanguard.
The extra is from Chesterton Windmill at sunset today. I don't know why the sails have disappeared; I hope it's not permanent.
