A November day in Nidderdale

The weather is unusually mild for November, and we also had blue skies again this morning. Normally the trees are all bare now, but some are still quite green. On a pleasant walk from Ripley this morning I thought this view was more applicable to spring or even summer rather than November.
On the way through the Ripley estate we had to make way for about 900 runners who passed us doing the annual 'Guy Fawkes 10' - a rather tortuous looking10 mile road race through rather hilly terrain. I snapped the leaders in the extra, although it's not really in focus.
