Stee-eee-eeem

A pre dawn trip to see the start of the London to Brighton Veteran car run. It’s a brilliant show with dozens of beautiful “brass cars” trundling off to the south coast. Loads of stories and I took dozens of photos. This steam car had a boiler with a coal burning cheerfully below the passenger back seat. I wonder if they completed the trip.

Santa Claus made an early visit, complete with a sack of toys (see extra). I asked home where the reindeers were and he explained that they are having a day off. But the curved fronted Oldsmobile is a close likeness to his sleigh.
