Autumn pinks

Not the brilliant orange of some autumn colours, but a pretty delicate pink. I went for a walk this afternoon up a long local road, and spotted this pretty shrub.
N bought a fair sized chicken for me to cook today. More of a fiddle with stuffing, bacon rolls etc, but it is worth it because not only did it taste really good, but we also have another full meal waiting to be microwaved tomorrow and another in the freezer, and a box of bits ready to be made up into what N calls a mess up - a concoction which he serves with rice or pasta. A really good value purchase.
