Redwing

Apparently today is my 300th blip! It has been a struggle at times which is interesting as this image was a struggle too.

I've been trying to get a reasonable image of a redwing for the last few weeks and here, they are very flighty and will disappear when you are hundreds of meters away. 

But not today, there were a few brave souls that hung around for a portrait or two and this was one. The slightly odd pose was due to the fact that it was very windy and the bird was at the top of the tree being flung around like a rag!
