Bonfire watching

You don’t see a bonfire for ages then two come along one after another. This one was at the allotment raising funds for communal needs on the site. There was an obligatory raffle where I thing everyone won at least one prize. I came away with a box of Hero’s Chocolates and a box of chocolate truffles.

Earlier in the day we went for a short walk in lovely morning sunshine then it was back to Doreen’s house to continue the clear out and preparations. David did some tiling prior to the installation of a new sink and toilet. I glossed woodwork and the two girls did more sorting and discarding then went to see Doreen.
