Finn and his gang from Park Celtic had an opportunity to break the recent chain of crushing home defeats and go and get hammered on the opposition's pitch for a change. 
Only 12 out of the 20 players signed up for the 45 minute drive each way to try and keep the number of conceded goals in the single figure this time. 
But then one of them tested positive for covid and yesterday another Stakhanov of the week midfield contracted the vomiting bug.  
Mrs Raheny was giving out stink that there wasn't even a full squad and that the match had to be cancelled. I feel sorry for Ballyoulster United. They've missed a golden opportunity for a hat trick. 
For each of their strikers... And possibly the odd midfielder too. 

I was glad to get an unexpected opportunity for a cheeky walk in Glen of the Downs. It looked glorious.
