The Matterhorn of Cheshire

Summit of Shutlingsloe hill on part of our Peak Boundary walk today. It’s known as the Matterhorn of Cheshire, at all of 506m height. The summit was crowded with a large Polish walking party (there’s historical cultural association in the area going back to WW2 and the role of the Polish Air Force). I took this photo into the sun with a howling gale and streaming eyes so was surprised how well it came out.
