Scenes at Creston
When we arrived at Tates the sun was shingle and it was chilly but nice enough to get out for a walk. These sky was blue, the creek was singing and there was still some fall color. These are some of the things I saw today.
On the trip here we were bombarded with abundant color all along the road until we started gaining elevation in the mountains. Then the trees became bare and color was sparse. I hope to see more color along the road as we drive west. Fall is the best time of year!
Lil Bear the dog really wanted us to play with him and his soccer ball but every time we tried to kick it he grabbed it in his huge mouth and ran off.
The best surprise was one of my granddaughters was here. She is staying the night here so we will have some time together.
