Church leaders

Paul said last night “we could have our own church service”. Turns out the kids latched on to the idea! So late morning Allegra led us in quite an entertaining church service - with the use of Alexa which she told to sing two songs that she’d chosen and instructed us to sing along and do actions. She then judged us on our performances (that part was more like x-factor than church!), got various of us to pray at certain points, asked us a “would you rather question” and introduced her brother who was the preacher. He read us his favourite story from his Bible and then told us the “life lesson” he thought we should learn from it. (I have put it on YouTube and linking it here so we can bring it out when he’s older - especially if he continues the preaching habit that much of his family have…)

Definitely made for an alternative, and fairly entertaining “service” and it was followed with G&Ts rather than teas and coffees!
