Road to Nowhere

Or is it simply....Driving to Nowhere? 

Sister Barb and I took advantage of this gorgeous day (again....325 days of sun every year...) to take a day trip up to Taos, New Mexico.  We took the High Road to Taos..don't laugh, it really exists. Read about it here if you're interested. Gorgeous scenery, a lovely lunch and some wandering around the Plaza and surrounding shops for gifts for the grandkids.  

At The Farmhouse Cafe where we had lunch, we wandered around a bit afterwards and found a couple of old trucks rusting out in the field behind the restaurant. Having never participated in Derelict Sunday, I figured this was the perfect opportunity. Thank you Marlieske for hosting!

Thank you all so very much for your amazing response to my blip yesterday of the yellow cottonwoods...I'm truly grateful and humbled!
