This is a children’s book I borrowed from Maddy, it’s a delightful funny story about a young boy from Australia who is sent to England because his little brother is seriously ill in hospital. He decides to ask the Queen for help to find the best doctor to help his brother get better. He gets no help and into a lot of mischief. It touches on a lot of tough topics with sensitivity and humour. I note it was first published in 1989. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of it before. If you have a few spare hours it’s worth reading.
