Through the eyes of a 3 year old

This photo hangs in a bathroom. Annabel who is three has been in there many times. Today during a lengthy 'seat' she appears, at last, to come to an interesting affirmation. "Which one is Grandpa?" It a black and white photo. Photos are of people who we know. This photo is in his house.
Response, "None of them is Grandpa, it is just a photo". Ignoring the response, "He is the one with the seagull on his head." Again, focal point of photo, starring character, Grandpa's bathroom- of course it has to be him as a young boy.
I am getting into this now so I ask, "What are the boys doing?". Response, "They are hiding in cupboards but I don't know why. Grandpa is going to get caught though because the seagull is going to make a noise."
Fascinating and some would say a perfectly logical reading of this print!
