Day 34 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1
A busy day today, work, osteopath, more work, so we went for a short walk, on the flat, after supper. It was a beautiful evening, people were still out enjoying the beaches, the water was still and the sun lit up the sky with a pinky/golden glow.
As we walked back towards St Heliers, the sun was glinting off the windows of a house up on top of the cliff and was reflected in the water. A beautiful blip.
The good news is that Auckland will move to Step 2 of Level 3 at midnight tomorrow night, Tuesday. This step allows retail to open up again and we are able to have gatherings of up to 25 people, from different bubbles, but only outside. A friend has already booked us and two other friends in for fish and chips at the beach on Saturday evening. How exciting!!
There are 190 new community cases today, of which 182 are in Auckland, seven in the Waikato and one in Northland. Sadly, two more deaths have been announced, but it is not yet confirmed whether Covid-19 was the main cause of death. All four deaths have been referred to the Coroner.
