A gerbera growing in my garden, thriving in a sunny spot - but with its bowed head it was possibly waiting for a drink of cooling water!

Covid update
190 new cases - 182 in Auckland, 7 in Waikato, 1 in Northland
7-day rolling average is 148 cases
4541 total cases in this delta outbreak
81 in hospital - one is a 6 week old baby
7 in intensive care

From today the rolling 7-day average will be used by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for community cases.
From this week MOH will only report on those in hospital who are inpatients and who are being treated for their Covid-19 illness.
Auckland moves to Alert Level 3 step 2 from 11.59pm tomorrow night
Upper Northland will move from Alert Level 3 to Level 2 at 11.59pm Thursday night.
