In the audience

At the Usher Hall to see Alan Cumming talking about his new memoir and all sorts of other stuff. And the surprise host was Nicola Sturgeon - which was, indeed, a surprise. 

A thoroughly enjoyable evening. And as we were leaving we bumped into Alan and Karen, who'd also been there. 

Earlier we'd watched Scotland narrowly beat Australia.
