Staying near Looe day 3
Or “To the Lighthouse”. This is Godrevy lighthouse made famous by Virginia Woolf and almost every Cornish painter. I had an enjoyable drive from south east to north west Cornwall- to meet a friend who lives in Penzance, for a walk at Godrevy. We didn’t actually walk that far, as she had her booster the previous day and was feeling a bit weak. We did walk over to the cove - see extra- when you first look down you see a few rocks on a beach far below, but when you look carefully, there’s almost 100 seals down there I reckon. Including one pure white new born. I’m sorry I didn’t have a good camera to take a proper photo, but hopefully you can make some of them out.
Happily there is a very nice cafe in the National Trust car park, and we had lunch outdoors sitting in the sunshine.
