Train on Kent Viaduct, Arnside

The main event of the day was a trip up to Arnside to do a 7km walk up and around Arnside Knot with a view to taking a large family group on the walk as part of my sisters birthday celebrations . There are some steep bits so a bit of tweaking will have to be done .
We live an hours drive away so it’s easily reached for a day trip but the plan is to stay in a huge house with a view of the bay .There will be 19 adults, 6 children and some dogs . It’s a long time since we have had such a gathering and there is a lot to look forward to .
Time for tea and tidying now , it’s almost dark .
