Ross Sands

A fantastic walk in a howling gale, on a very bright day.  We thought we might possibly be on the set of 'Dune' and were on the look out for sand worms!  The walk took us from Ross Sands up to the Needles across from Lindisfarne, where we found some shelter so we could eat our lunch and look at the views.  The wind had dropped as we walked back.  We were pleased to see some seals-se extra.  Also of the san blowing.
