Booster

I've had major problems trying to get my booster jab - the 'government' (other words may be added or substituted!) keeps urging us to get them, and blames us for not having them, but my experience and that of many others is that it is very difficult, at least if you aren't very mobile. I found out that there is a walk-in centre 3 miles away, and I asked my very good friend Phil if he could drive me there. Once there it was quite straightforward, but I would still be waiting if I had to wait for the GP (no criticism of the GP, who is completely overloaded with work). The local pharmacy has a big notice advertising flu jabs, so we stopped there on the way back - but they had run out!!

My arm is quite uncomfortable now, and I feel rather shivery and tired, like after my first jab But not the second).

Many thanks to Phil for providing transport - I would probably still be waiting until at least the end of this month otherwise.
