Walking home from school

The new bespoke railings outside the town’s Methodist church represent the wildlife on the river and Holt Island nature reserve, which are both behind me, as I take the photo.

The railings and the church’s exterior are rather lovely, especially on a late autumn afternoon with the low sun breaking through the clouds and shining on the building.
