Bridges

After seeking out and visiting nearby Balbirnie Stone Circle (see extra), impressive stones but surrounded by houses and other stuff, we headed to the coast and followed it south to the Forth Bridge. It was a dull day, but we stopped a few times and I took some rather nice photos of the coastal scenery which was quite spectacular at times. 

However, I chose to post this view of the three bridges taken from Dalgety Bay because, having rarely crossed the Forth in the past, we did it four times in a few days, twice by train and twice by road. 

I changed the view to black and white silvertone, as it was almost mono anyway and I loved the effect of the light on the water. Certainly best seen large.
