Yet we're not down heartened The sale of our house in Fife seems to be progressing nicely. The buyers have brought the sale date forward a month. Happy days. Except the new transaction date now lands on St Andrews Day - a bank holiday! DOH!

Our ancient car is due an MoT towards the end of next month, the check engine light has been on for years, Today it started flashing. Must thumb through the handbook this evening. If I fail to blip in the future it may have been a warning that deserved more credence.
