No picture can really do justice to how utterly dramatic Ross Back Sands was looking when we visited today  ...

... the snap here shows the view from the vast 'Sands', looking South towards Bamburgh Castle - long beach-walk, sunshine, wind, huge open space, packed-lunch, hardly any other people = total bliss :-))
