Friends together

Ann and Al invited Maureen, Brian, Julie and me to lunch today. It was so lovely to be together in a normal setting, enjoying good food and each other's company.

Here they are on the stairs just before we were leaving. Julie drove here, then we went in my car to Haltwhistle to pick up Maureen and Brian and drove to Catton. 

The autumn colours were a delight again, particularly at Lambley on the return journey.

Ann and Al have lots of interesting pieces of art in their house. They have quite eclectic tastes. The extra shows the three swimmers on the bathroom wall. Beats three ducks any day!
