Father and Daughter, and Husband

Ju and Tom went down to Sutton for the day, for her godfather's 80th, one of my oldest friends. We thought it wise to stay here, though disappointed, of course.

We had a "Luscious Lamb Moussaka" waiting for them, plus a massive amount of chilli con carne for a student meal they're helping with tomorrow. 

All chilling on our devices now, bed is calling, but might do examen first...

Gratefuls:
- having Geoff for a friend all these years, he's a special man
- an absolutely beautiful book of sketches of Mersea Island during lockdown by James Weaver, from my sister-in-law; Mike and I got engaged on Mersea while his Mum was living there, special place for us
- Ju and Tom getting home safely
