The Climbing Tree

The great attraction by school is the 'climbing tree' - it's a mecca for children after school.  The eldest made me film him as he gave instructions about how to climb a tree, he was pretty good! 

Slightly odd day with no deadlines looming and no urgent work to do, which I'm totally not at all used to.  I settled into making a second pair of curtains, which shouldn't take too long to run up, the last ones were pretty huge, these are far smaller thankfully. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The boys settling into practising spellings after school, despite much  protest at first. 
Email from the youngest's' teacher waiting for me when I got home from the morning school run saying he had settled well after I left him in tears. 
Handing in the latest assignment.
