Hill near junction 40

One of the things that I envy a lot of my local friends is their ability to name the hills and mountains hereabouts. I can name Coniston Old Man *if* I'm in Coniston and that's about it.

On the way back from Glasgow yesterday I stopped off to do some shopping, primarily buying Easter eggs for the kids, some from me and some from my parents. It was such a beautiful day - chilly, yes, but clear and very sunny - that I decided to head along the A66 towards Keswick.

I took quite a few photos but this was my favourite. Whilst nowhere near as tall, it rather reminded me of Mt Fuji. Hopefully one of my Lake District chums will be able to name it for me and I'll update this post.
