Discovering an unexpected upside to Englands' disappointing Spring & seemingly endless Winter.
The carnations are the last remaining blooms from my Valentines' boquet (Feb 14th) still hanging-in!
The 2 red roses were presented to us by the restaurant after an Indian meal a week ago, and are starting to wilt, which isn't too bad either.
Conditions in the downstairs loo must be just perfect- cool but frost-free. I'm wondering whether us girls are being similarly blessed by a temporary halt in the ageing process. We can but hope.
