The Cake Plate.

This plate is on the wall at my parents house and for me, will always be "The Cake Plate" as when we were little, this was always the plate at tea time that was laden with whatever homemade cakes my Mum had made for us. It was purchased in 1950 as an 'Export Reject' as at the time all china for the home market, following the war had to be white. It depicts scenes at Balls Falls, Ontario.
