A 'work' day prepping for the exams.  Lugging some 20-odd boxes full of paper was quite physical work but it was good to contribute in some small way to what we all hope will be a successful exam season for the kids.

This shot taken in the evening - beautiful but ugly.  The sundown held promise and actually almost made the ugly old MDF plant look attractive.  Even though I know the plumes are steam not smoke there's still something in me that says they just shouldn't be there.

In COVID news, there were 125 new community cases today.  There are 79 people in hospital and 9 in ICU.  At midnight tonight Auckland's restrictions will ease thus allowing more interaction, more movement and some retail therapy!  The Auckland border restrictions remain in place however - the opening of the those borders is sure to herald the seepage of the virus across the country......
