Red Squirrels at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park
Spent a while in the nature hide at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Aberfoyle this morning watching three or four red squirrels running about, eating and burying peanuts and chasing each other, wonderful to see. Then a fairly steep walk up the Craigmore View Trail for lovely views over the forest. The information board describes it as ‘strenuous’, if I had read that before setting off I may not have gone but glad we did and may well have sore legs tomorrow!
