The avenue

Unfortunately the beautiful avenue of trees at the beginning of the village had to be removed as they were diseased and the roots were damaging the road surface.  These ones remain however further into the village. I did the market shopping early and then got an invitation to go down to the tennis club.  I was back in time for a quick lunch and the French conversation group.
