Artwork in Kingston upon Thames

Anyone who knows Kingston upon Thames will recognise the falling down phone boxes image. This is painted on another shop that has closed , very near the market place. I think it was a mobile phone shop. Over the last year or so students from Kingston School of Art have painted images on the outside of various empty shops which is much nicer than the usual dismal remains or graffiti. The building on the left in the picture is the Market House in the market place, it served as the Town hall until 1935.
I went into Kingston briefly at 11.30 and was so surprised to find the John Lewis car park very full and so many people on the streets…and it’s a Tuesday!
