The doorway to heaven

My Tuesday in the Kanapaha Gardens was most precious today! It was just the right temperature in the mid 50s, the sky was clear and the lighting perfect to work along the Eastern trail. I have to add extras as there were so many photo opportunities!

The bamboo garden is the largest in Florida and has many varieties! I am particularly fond of black bamboo. See earlier photo of wind chime made with black bamboo.

The seed bulbs of the waning ginger plants stand out in the background of ferns.

The Pagoda flowers are at their tallest so catch the most light and are very long lasting!
