Waiting…

… for my booster jab this evening, and all is well. Blue chairs for waiting, red for recovery. And the best shot I could discretely manage.

Valerie was at the hospice where they’ll be administering her chemotherapy for over three hours this afternoon. No-one could go in with her. There were four patients in her room all at different stages and all had brought different activities with them to fill the time. She’d taken a book to read. She was glad to get home again. She’ll be on a three weeks on, one week off programme. The PICC line was a good idea and made for a smooth infusion.

Thank you so much for your care and support. I have told her about you all and that some of you are on the same journey or have had family and friends who have been there too.
