Princes Street in the Rain
Raining today, so not much chance for blandering at lunch time. I did manage to rattle off a few shots while trying to avoid getting the camera too wet. The only thing about rainy days in town is that everybody has umbrellas and navigating in and around the crowds of umbrella-wielding masses. This chap was doing a pretty good job of weaving in and out of his slower paced pedestrians, as demonstrated by his quick thinking and fancy footwork, as pictured above.
It's nice to have a rainy day now and again, which is handy, since we do get our fair share of rainy days in Scotland. Got a lift to work from the missus today, which meant being dropped off in Lothian Road and walking along George Street to work. Initially, the rain wasn't too bad for walking in, but just as I was about to exit the Gardens onto Princes Street it got a fair bit heavier, and I was soaked by the time I got to the office (via Starbucks).
Work wasn't too bad either - was fairly busy all day, which meant the day went quite quickly. All in all, can't complain really, especially considering it was a rainy Monday.
